FUKA FOODS LTD Company deals in milling and sale of Maize and other cereals. The company sells fortified Maize Flour, Maize Bran and Maize Germ which are used for processing of animal/Fish/Poultry feed. The company markets its products across Nairobi and Western Kenya. The company aims to diversify and introduce more offerings into the Market within one year of operation. In addition, Fuka Foods will within the year 2023 venture into Animal Feeds manufacturing and selling, which will open even more opportunioties. FUKA FOODS was founded in September 2023, and started operations in January 2022. At optimal level, there is opportunity for fifty (50) employees – both Permanent and Casuals.


Salesperson is expected to ensure the correct and efficient implementation of the company’s sales strategies, policies, processes and standards. The role holder is mandated to recruit distribution partners and wholesalers.


Duties and Responsibilities:

    Planning

  • Review and align sales Targets for each month with Management
  • Have a Monthly journey plan prioritizing top markets.

    • Execution

  • Achieve the set Sales targets. In addition, achieve the set Mix package Targets (to be agreed).
  • Ensure Sales is done by Cash, and only in exceptional circumstances, when authorised/ where there are signed terms with customer, ensure the Sales Terms are operational
  • Execute Demand planning with Management to ensure Stocks, Vehicle, and other resources are made available
  • Identify, recruit and Onboard at least 1 new customer weekly
  • Ensure Customers are served On Time In Full with No Errors

    • Leadership and Administration

  • Generate, submit and review with Management a weekly Sales report (Refer to Sales Rep Reconciliation Form Template)
  • Review and discuss with Management Market trends – For example Competition, Pricing, etc
  • Promote and maintain Relationship with customers

Qualifications:

  • Education level – Minimum Diploma level
  • Experience – 2 Years
  • Specific skills – Able to negotiate.
  • Personal characteristics – amiable
  • Certifications
  • Licenses – Can drive a vehicle in case required
  • Physical abilities – Medically fit and Healthy, because of Food handling.
