Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial & Planning:

• Leverage available resources to attain a Production target in line with Plant Milling potential
• Ensure an efficient and effective Inventory Management, and advise Management on Raw Material needs and Finished goods
• Ensure best price from various quotes for services rendered for items, repairs and services.
• Manage well Administrative costs like wages for casual employees and guarantee no unnecessary overtime is paid

Leadership and People Performance:

• Assign tasks to casuals and manage their time effectively to ensure they complete tasks, both qualitatively and quantitatively.).
• Ensure a healthy employee turnover
• Where applicable, ensure skills transfer so that we have a succession plan for key roles
• Engage Customers positively, especially the walk ins, to ensure we acquire, satisfy and retain customers to generate sustainable sales.

Health & Safety, and Compliance:

• Policy compliance: ensure processes are implemented in compliance with financial, legal and company-wide policies.
• Safety compliance: track and enforce safe conduct and performance on the job. Measure and manage employees' understanding of safety metrics like handling equipment properly and maintaining a clear workspace free of safety hazards. Log in all occurrences for tracking purposes.
• Ensure cleanliness of the plant, equipment, tools and any applicable assets.
• Risk management: identify, report and manage any Risk related to finances, production, equipment, and other operations
