Chef
Our partner is looking for a chef to report to the Restaurant Manager. The chef will manage
daily restaurant and kitchen operations, assists with menu planning and helps servers and
hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. The chef should strive to improve guest and
employee satisfaction and maximise performance continually.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all food orders are prepared in a timely and coordinated manner

Using food production techniques that conserve nutrients, preserve flavour, and
enhance the appearance of food products and menu items

Developing new recipes and testing food products

Implementing procedures which assure high-quality food is produced

Ensuring daily closing and opening of foodstuff stocks levels and requisite storage
management

Maintaining a clean and safe station while following all health regulations

Providing excellent customer service to guests

Any other duty assigned
Qualifications
- Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication

Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word,
Excel and Outlook

Hospitality management or equivalent culinary university degree with a minimum
of two years' experience in a similar capacity
